Soul purpose is a grossly misunderstood concept. Capitalistic culture tells us that soul purpose means making money doing something you love. While career satisfaction is important for living a well-rounded, fulfilled life, SOUL PURPOSE IS NOT ABOUT MAKING MONEY. (Although you can make money living your purpose.)
Soul Purpose is the reason your Soul incarnated. It's who you came here to be, the frequency you came to emanate, and the "mission work" you came here to fulfill.
Your legacy and impact might be in the family that you raise, the love that you share, the ideas you spark, or something you create.
As a professional Oracle, I can tell you that most of my "mission work" is both unseen and unpaid. It's what I do and how I be behind the scenes, because my soul calls me to it. It's also where I find some of my deepest fulfillment.
That said, when I was a Financial Advisor, I was also fulfilling part of my soul purpose, though I didn't see it at the time. There were lessons there I needed to learn at a soul level to help me get to where I am now.
Part of the Legacy Luminary superpower is trusting your intuitive guidance and following it, even and especially when it doesn't make sense.
Common symptoms of dormant Legacy Luminary Soul Power are:
👉🏼 Feeling unfulfilled, unsatiated, or like "there's more..."
👉🏼 You're at a fork in the road, like one path is ending and another is beginning - but you might not see it clearly yet.
👉🏼 You desire a sense of significance and meaning. If you're not aligned with your highest path, life might slap you round a little bit to help you re-orient to your soul's true north.
Regardless of where you are on your path, your legacy is calling you forward.
Purpose comes in 3 stages:
- LESSONS: these are lessons that you came here to learn on a soul level. They often come on the other side of deep healing. So if you’re in your shit right now, you might be living a part of your soul purpose without realizing it…focus on the lessons you can learn here.
- SOUL GIFTS + SKILLS: This is a combination of mastery that your soul has developed over life times that is so inherent, you don’t even recognize it as a skill. There’s other soul mastery that will only activate after you go through some of the healing + lessons mentioned above. If you are in a period of intuitive development, but if you’re questioning “what am I good at? What is my thing? You might not be recognizing what your gift really is.
- SERVICE: How can you make the world a better place simply by being you? How do you feel called to give back? And not from a hero complex of “I need to save the world and it all lies on MY shoulders…” but you have a unique piece of the puzzle that only you can bring. It comes from the desire to create a world that we all want to live in. You have a necessary ingredient in the recipe of the heaven on earth we all want to inhabit.
1. CONTRACTION
You're likely lacking clarity and direction or the confidence to step forward in the direction that you know your soul is calling you to go. Or you feel bored and unfulfilled.
If you already feel like you’re on path, on mission, and fulfilling your soul purpose, there’s a next level available for you. And it’s going to require you to do something different.
If you don’t feel like you’re fulfilling your purpose or tapped into what that is, this is the time to silence the outside noise and really start tuning into the voice of your soul.
“There’s more but I don’t know what it is…”
Newsflash: Whichever stage of soul purpose you resonate with, you’re still on purpose. You’re still on path.
Can you trust it?
Where you lack faith, there is a bottleneck in your ability to fulfill your lasting legacy.
2. EXPANSION
Life is already trying to expand you. Here’s how to lean into it.
Look at what has an expiration date in your life:
- Jobs
- Relationships
- Locations or homes
- Habits
While this is a part of your path because it’s where you currently are, you also have to acknowledge when it's time to bring it to completion to allow whatever comes next to come in.
Write the last chapter and put the book back on the shelf.
Only once you let go, can you start writing the next chapter.
Take the lessons from it and reflect:
You grew here. What did you learn from this experience? Each phase of your life is picking up a new tool … what did you pick up here? A skill, a relationship dynamic, a deeper understanding of yourself, etc.
